DISASTER RECOVERY:

Quick and seamless recovery from hard drive failure and other catastrophic mishaps

ACCELERATED RECOVERY
FAILED HARD DRIVE
Rebound from complete spectrum of “potential interrupters” to your business Access/Inherit snapshot from server using PXE or USB/DVD
Every year, 3% of an enterprise fleet (on average) experiences total hard drive failure. Whether resulting from malware or other unforseen catastrophic failure, the goal is still to minimize downtime and return assets to compliant health quickly. Persystent’s unique ability to access the last known desired state, accelerates the recovery process by a factor of 5x. After installing a new hard drive, the asset automatically boots to fresh OS, which includes the ideal state. In a matter of minutes, the device is restored. Restoration of a failed hard drive is easier. Now, IT can apply the last updated state by accessing the server or by applying a data source such as PXE/USB/CD/DVD. Within minutes, the device is restored to productivity with all the healthy OS, applications, configurations, security protocols (encryption), registry settings, and unique group policies (GPOs). All IT needs to do is access a data backup for a users unique files and it will be as if the issue that caused the failure never happened. This can all be managed centrally and applied remotely.

CENTRALIZING ASSET CONTROL
The right image for the right user in less than an hour
Reduces operational costs and optimizes personnel productivity
Disaster never happens when it’s convenient, which is why Persystent Suite automates much of the process to mitigate availability and continuity issues. This returns users to productivity without over-taxing IT’s stretched-thin resources. Persystent Suite provides the necessary automation to lessen the impact and restore compute availability to PCs AND/OR servers faster–and with practically no afterwork. Even with a plan, it might take upwards of 72 hours for a working environment to be completely restored. Persystent gets you back up and running in less than hour. From an operational perspective, centralization offers a more cohesive standard and unified vision for an organization. Beyond the obvious benefits such as the elimination of redundant functions, and the cost savings related to economies of scale, the most mission critical aspect of centralization is that of IT asset control. With centralized configuration management, the ability to apply and control authorized versions of applications, get new users devices operational in minutes (regardless of location) or self-correct intentional or unintentional changes addresses security, productivity, compliance objective.
